What You’ll Be Doing
As a HIR Technical Sales Manager, you’ll serve as the face of Gallagher Asphalt in your region, developing opportunities, promoting the HIR process, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Relations
Engage with public agencies to bid and win HIR projects
Build relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
Travel to meet with clients and prospects (approximately 35% travel via car/air)
Marketing & Outreach
Promote HIR projects while underway in your region
Represent Gallagher Asphalt at trade shows, conferences, and Lunch & Learns
Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for HIR technology and its benefits
Project Collaboration
Partner with our internal project managers and engineers from bid through execution
Support seamless project transitions from sales to job site
What You Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
Business, construction management, or related field
Based in Illinois or Indiana
Valid driver's license
Technical Know-How
Construction equipment, means & methods, safety, and environmental awareness (OSHA/MSHA)
Familiarity with CRM tools and construction software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Teams
Competitive, driven, and solution-oriented
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
Builds win-win relationships with integrity and emotional intelligence
